Ayodhya Temple Darshan & Aarti Timings

Nobody wants to reach a temple and find the doors shut. Here’s exactly when each one opens, so you can plan your day around darshan.

Ram Mandir Darshan

From 1 Nov 2026: 7–11:30 AM and 1:35 PM till evening, with short bhog breaks. Free for everyone, no pass needed. Go early for the shortest wait.

Ram Mandir Aarti

From 1 Nov 2026: Mangala Aarti 4:30 AM, Shringar 6:30 AM, Sandhya 7 PM and Shayan 9:30 PM. Aarti passes are free on the temple trust’s official portal.

Hanuman Garhi

5 AM–12 PM and 4–9 PM. Aarti at 7 AM and 6 PM. Many devotees come here first, before Ram Lalla.

Kanak Bhawan

Summer: 8–11:30 AM and 4:30–9:30 PM. Winter: 9 AM–12 PM and 4–9 PM. Easy to visit after Ram Mandir.

Nageshwarnath Temple

5 AM to 8 PM. It's right by Ram Ki Paidi, so visit just before the evening Saryu aarti.

Saryu Aarti, Ram Ki Paidi

Every evening at sunset: about 6:30 PM in summer, 6 PM in winter. Arrive 20 minutes early to secure a good viewing spot.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya Dham, the Ram Mandir temple

Everything You Need for a Peaceful Ram Lalla Darshan

Going for the first time? Here’s what most people only find out once they’re standing in the queue.

Darshan Timings

Check the timings before you leave the hotel, so you don’t arrive during Ram Lalla’s 12:30–1:30 PM rest period.

Free Aarti & Sugam Passes

Both are free. Book online before your trip. Parents aged 70+? Their Aadhaar card is all they need.

What You Can't Carry

Your phone, smartwatch, bag and snacks stay outside. Drop them at the free cloakroom, then join the queue.

Queue & Wait Time

Weekday morning? Plan for 1.5–2 hours. Weekend or festival? It can take 3–5 hours. Carry patience, not bags.

Ram Darbar, First Floor

Don't leave right after Ram Lalla's darshan. Visit the Ram Darbar on the first floor by walking upstairs. No additional pass is required.

Dress Code

Wear clean, modest clothes you can stand in for hours. Here, comfort matters more than style.

Bringing Your Parents for Darshan? Let's Make It Easy on Them.

This trip may be their lifelong wish. Let’s make sure they enjoy every moment of it, without tired legs or long waits.

Free E-Carts & Wheelchairs

No need to make Maa-Papa walk all the way. Free e-carts and wheelchairs are there for elderly devotees.

70+? Sugam Pass with Aadhaar

If your parents are 70 or above, they can get a Sugam Darshan pass just by showing their Aadhaar card.

Pick a Weekday Morning

Shorter queues, cooler air, calmer crowds. Your parents will love this thoughtful touch.
