Ayodhya Travel Guide (“we”, “us”) runs ayodhyatravelguide.com. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We’re an independent travel guide and tour planner, not the official Ram Mandir temple trust.
Information we collect
When you send a trip enquiry, our form asks for:
- Your name and WhatsApp number
- Your starting city, travel dates and number of people
- Whether elders or children are travelling, the package you’re interested in, your budget, and any notes you choose to add
Please don’t include sensitive details such as ID numbers, health records or payment information in the form.
When you browse the site, our web server records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is standard for any website and is used to keep the site running and secure.
How we use your information
- To contact you by phone or WhatsApp about your enquiry
- To prepare a trip plan and price for you
- To arrange the services you book with us, such as hotel, transport and sightseeing
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
If you book a trip, we share only the details needed (such as names and travel dates) with the hotels, drivers and partners who provide your services. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Third-party services
- Google Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google’s servers, so your browser connects to Google, which may record your IP address. See Google’s privacy policy for details.
- Official temple services: links to the temple trust’s portal (for example, Sugam Darshan passes) take you to a site we don’t control. Its own privacy policy applies there.
Cookies
The site uses only the cookies WordPress needs to work. We’ll update this page if we add analytics or advertising tools that use cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to plan and support your trip, and for any records the law requires. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to being contacted. We handle requests in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. To make a request, send us a message through the enquiry form and mention “privacy request”.
Children
Our enquiry form is meant for adults planning a trip. If you’re under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
